La Curiosa CR
This is a young mare that is maturing slowly (usually a positive sign).
She is one of the most elegant and poised young mares that I have seen.
We are ready to start her training in bozal within a matter of days and
are excited about her performance under saddle. I have a full brother
to this mare that may be the best horses I have bred. He is only 3
years of age and not started under saddle. La Curiosa CR is a truly
exciting prospect. Her elegance, intelligence, depth of breeding,
strong conformation and femininity are a truly rare combination of
desirable qualities. With another year or two of maturation and saddle
performance her body will deepen and mature. Forexample, look at the
photos of Gaylena CR at the age of 4 years and the photos taken
recently at the age of 7 years.

YES! This is the same mare pictured above, La Curiosa CR, born May 05, 2005. She is now mature and trained in the bit. Her gait is virtually perfect and I cannot find any fault in her conformation. She has extensive trail experience and no fear of vehicle traffic. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this truly exceptional young mare. It will be a real challenge to find a Peruvian horse of this quality under any conditions. Her winter coat produces a slightly "scruffy" appearance, but in the Spring she will look like the "Princess" in the photos above, when shewas 17 months.
