Born 7-26-2000 (Especial CR X Minerva)
This is one of the best offspring of Especial CR. It was a difficult decision to geld him, due to his many superb qualities. He has the incredibly, smooth, efficient stride of his sire, combined with perfect“ brio.“ He loves to work and move out on the trail. And, he is a real “ people loving “ horse. When you enter his stall, he wants to snuggle. He is a favorite of the trainer and barn personnel, due to his friendly and whimsical personality. And, even more importantly, Domino CR has a perfect conformation for soundness, especially in the pastern length and fetlocks.
The reasons for finally decided to geld him are: (1) His sire, at the age of 17 years, is still a strong, sound and active breeding stallion, (2) I have two half brothers, one younger and one older, of comparable quality, and (3) Domino CR doesn't have quite the depth of body that I want in a breeding stallion. For those persons seeking a strong, young, well trained, superbly gaited, smart, courageous and people loving horse, this is truly an opportunity of a lifetime. It is difficult for me to put him on the sales list. But, with his sire, Especial CR, still producing wonderful foals, I can't keep them all. I am still considering the proper listing price.
