Born 3-07-00  (Ovacion x La Valentina)
This is the first foal of La Valentina.  Her sire, *Ovacion, was bred by Pepe Risso, Sr. and imported to the United States by the Hamblen family.  He was chosen National Junior Champion Stallion as a three year old and later could not be shown under saddle due to a deep hoof injury that never allowed him to be shown unshod.  I bred one of my top mares to him in California and La Valencia CR is the result.  She is now under saddle and demonstrating the best qualities of her breeding.  On the ground she is calm, loves contact with people and when carrying a rider, has great brio and an excellent, smooth gait.  This young mare is the best of all worlds, in genetics, disposition, gait and brio.
