Born 5-18-99 (Especial CR x Dulce Linda).
This mare has a wonderful "people friendly" sweet disposition. She is curious and easy to approach in the open pasture. She also has the locked in timing and smoothness of gait characteristic of her sire. And, she has inherited the innate strength expected from her bloodlines, along with an alert demeanor and willingness to please and adapt on the trail. With a little more training in the bit and trail exposure, she will be ready to provide wonderful experiences for almost any level of rider. La Fresa CR is an "all around, top choice" for show, trail and kind attitude. |

Born 5-31-98 (Especial CR x Goleta, by Sol De Oro, CRR).
Another superb daughter of Especial CR. Until she started her breeding
career, she was one of my favorite trail horses. Please see the photos and
description of her extracted from an old sale list. Her first foal, was
sired by Bonito CR, and was the first of Bonito's offspring, shown under
saddle. Please see the show page for the photos and accomplishments of
GAYLENA CR (Bonito CR x Verdadera CR ). Gaylena CR won Best Bozal Horse of
Show, as a 3 year old filly! Verdadera CR has since born a full brother
and this year a full sister to Gaylena CR, that show all of the promise of
their older sister. She is nursing the latest foal, but will soon be ready
again for the saddle, and/or breeding next year.

It is rare for a breeding female of this quality to be on the market. She is a double grand-daughter of HNS Domingo, has great brio with a kind disposition and total reliability. She was National Junior Champion in Fort Worth as a 3 year old in her first show and has many first place awards under saddle. She was overall Reserve Champion (second only to Bonito CR) at the All Gaited Breed Show 2001 and Reserve Champion Performance and Breeding Mare at the Northwest Regional Show 2001. The mare is open and healthy, as pictured on the June 7, 2002 trail ride. She will be bred soon to Bonito CR and was shown last year in Monterey, California, July 12-14, and in Montoe, Washington, July 26-28. Her current price is for her open status. |
