Vortica CR
SOLD
Born 5-5-01 (Su Majestad x Especiala CR)
I first saw Su Majestad in Santa Barbara, California, when he was acclaimed National Champion Breeding Stallion in 1999. Before the championship class I was able to purchase two breedings to this wonderful stallion, from Gene Pepe, because I felt the horse would win and the stud fee would rise. The fortunate result was one filly and one colt. The colt has been sold as a trained gelding and his owners are delighted with his gait, disposition, stamina and trail manners. I can provide their names as a reference. The sister, Vortica CR, is now for sale, only due to my major herd reduction. She is gorgeous, with an almost unique shade of dark liver chestnut. Because she has been slow in maturing (common trait in many of the best horses), she has not been started under saddle. But she has a kind, relaxed attitude, is easy to catch, hoof trim and handle in halter. She is ready for the saddle, and I predict she will progress rapidly and be an outstanding horse for pleasure, show and/or breeding.
